Jack Shaoul (my great-uncle) created the Landlord Killer Band in 1988. it is a violent MIDI driven Iranian-pop concept album about killing his landlord. Jack composed, sung, and played drums on all tracks, with guitar by someone he refers to as "Blow Fox".

Jack sings about his experience with the American Dream and how it was derailed by his Landlord. During the making of this album, Jack was in a court case with his landlord who was trying to evict him (reasons unknown). As the story goes, once Jack showed the landlord this album they settled out of court. The instrumentation is influenced by Jack's Persian upbringing, heavy on MIDI and late 80s pop. The vocal performance is masterful, with sweeping falsettos and throaty growls encapsulating the emotional journey of Jack's conflict.

The album consists of 6 original songs and 4 covers.
